JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a veterinarian with us, you have the opportunity to work broadly and variably with all species of animals, but there is also room to develop within a specific species or area. The District Veterinarians in Väderstad are now looking for an engaged veterinarian who wants to become part of our wonderful team! We hope you see us as an exciting workplace where you can develop and make a difference every day.

With us, you will meet:

• A close-knit group of 4 veterinarians, one licensed veterinary nurse (who is also the clinic manager), and 3 animal caretakers with different levels of expertise. We are a small but energetic team that values collaboration, joy, and competence.
• A fantastic work environment on the western side of Östergötland, nestled between the forests of Boxholm and the plains towards Vadstena. The clinic is located right by the E4, making it easy to commute from Linköping if you want to live in a larger city; otherwise, charming Mjölby is only a quarter of an hour away if you prefer a smaller town.
• The nature around the corner with Omberg's hiking trails, the bird lake Tåkern, and cozy farm shops that add a golden touch to everyday life.
• We have a mixed clientele with cattle, horses, chickens, and small animals, making the work both varied and developing. Our clinic is fully equipped for small animals with X-ray, ultrasound, and much more. For horses and cattle, we are currently focusing on broadening our expertise, and there are great opportunities to grow together with us!

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is more of a general practitioner than a specialist, and who sees it as a privilege to work with several different species. You enjoy collaborating with others and value good teamwork. As a veterinarian, you take responsibility for driving your work forward. You thrive in an environment where the day can quickly change, where we adapt and help each other to handle the situations that arise together.

With your calmness and ability to be structured, you plan and organize your work effectively. As a veterinarian, you quickly find solutions to emerging problems and demonstrate good judgment in the decisions you make.

We are looking for a licensed veterinarian; if you are at the end of your education and have not yet received your license, you are also welcome to apply.

A Swedish veterinary license and a B driver's license are required.
